Top 3 ADHD Gifts for Adults
Now, I know most folks don’t have time to read through this entire article, so here are my top 3 health & wellbeing ADHD gifts for adults:
Instant pot: Instant Pot Ultra 60
The instant pot is one of the BEST ADHD gifts for adults because it saves time, eliminates many cooking barriers, simplifies cooking, and is versatile. It is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets because it gets the job done, well, instantly. And it eliminates many barriers to cooking that are common in folks with executive dysfunction.
I recommend it to many of my neurodivergent clients because you can make so many delicious, easy one-pot meals such as soups, stews, curries, chilis, pasta dishes, and proteins (such as beef, chicken, or fish).
Air fryer: COSORI Air Fryer
Air fryers are another awesome gift for ADHD adults because it makes cooking so much easier. You might be surprised by this but you can cook almost anything in the air fryer, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks! You can also make healthier versions of common popular foods such as fries or chicken nuggets and they come out crispy and delicious without being fried with tons of oil. It just makes things simple!
Smart Home System, such as the Amazon Echo Show 10
Who wouldn’t want an all-in-one smart home system to keep your home organized? Smart homes are an awesome ADHD gift for adults for many reasons, but especially for those looking to be more organized in the kitchen.
This product allows you to cook along with recipes on SideChef, set timers, add items to your grocery list, and get unit conversions.
Smart homes are also helpful for reminding you to eat, which is something many ADHD adults forget to do! If my ADHD clients have a smart home, then I often recommend they set timers on it to remind them to eat 3 meals and 1-2 snacks per day. They’ve all said the timers help them tremendously! This is crucial if you tend to go several hours without eating as it can help reduce binging at night.

Instant Pot Cookbook: The Step-by-Step Instant Pot Cookbook: 100 Simple Recipes for Spectacular Results
Instant Pots are a wonderful cooking device that help you make one pot meals in minutes! If you know someone who has an instant pot, or maybe you’re giving someone an instant pot, this cookbook is a great option to go with it.
For many adults with ADHD, recipes with several ingredients and too much prep can be overwhelming and prevent them from cooking these dishes. That’s why I recommend this cookbook with low prep recipes as it makes a perfect gift for adults with ADHD. Recipes can’t get much easier than that! Plus, the cookbook is by Tasty which I’m a huge fan of!
Another thing that my clients often struggle with is recipes that take long to make. Again, planning and preparing food can be overwhelming for adults with ADHD so this makes a great gift! People are busy and they don’t have the time to spend hours cooking elaborate dinners every night (myself included). I’m all about the simple, quick, nutritious recipes. 30 minute, one pot meals are the perfect solution. Say goodbye to a sink full of dirty dishes!
This cookbook has the most gorgeous, drool-worthy images. Every single recipe is made using a sheet pan, which simplifies your cooking, meal prep, and life tremendously! I often recommend sheet pan meals to my neurodivergent clients because, again, these meals are one pan, simple, quick, minimal ingredients, and require minimal dishes to clean. Sheet pan cookbooks are great ADHD gifts for adults.
ADHD Gifts for Adults: Meal Kit Delivery Services
With ADHD, it can be quite stressful and overwhelming deciding what meals to cook and taking the time to actually do so. Meal kit delivery services help alleviate this by doing all of the hard work of choosing what to make and shopping for the ingredients, leaving you to only cook the meals! In turn, this makes for a great ADHD gift for adults.
Meal kits give you nutritious meals with simple instructions and minimal prep for you. This is a great option for people with ADHD who easily get bored of meals or run out of ideas, get decision paralysis when trying to decide what to eat, or have very busy schedules. I often recommend these services to my ADHD adult clients.
Meal kit services are perfect for neurodivergent adults because they eliminate all the executive dysfunction barriers they face when trying to plan meals (such as thinking of recipes, chopping veggies, grocery shopping, etc.).
